What Rush is

Three servers, each with a job of its own:

• Competitive — the queue. When 10 are in, everybody votes in two captains, who pick their teams, the 7-map pool is banned down to one, and Get5 runs the match. The result moves a rating that starts at 1000, season by season, and your own game decides how far - in tiers from Iron to Apex.
• Unranked — drop in, pick a side, play: classic, Wingman or Retakes, and !mode puts the choice to a vote. Nothing counts towards a rating.
• Practice — cheats on: grenade trajectories, infinite ammo and nades, any map on the server, workshop maps included — with AWP mode on the awp_ maps and the 1v1 Arena on the am_ ones.

Around them: a loadout of agents, knives, gloves, stickers, weapon skins and music kits — CS2’s included — that is on you at your next spawn; a scoreboard, stats and a written story for every match, the story posted to our Discord too; a leaderboard; friends, messages and an Online list to invite people into the queue, and private lobbies behind a code; Workshop maps to train on in your own game; and a strat board to draw the round on the map’s own radar. All of it lives in the Rush desktop app.

Every 5v5 is recorded too: its best moments become clips, and every match, the day and the week are written up in the news — both open to anybody on this website.

Who runs it

Rush is run by Shahggy, with a few admins who look after the servers, the matches and the guest list. It is a community project, with no ads.

How to get in

• Get the app. Download it after signing in with Steam.
• Queue up. Signing in is all it takes. Ranked 5v5 is played by whoever is in its queue; anybody else can watch from spectate, and Unranked and Practice are open to everyone.
• Say hello on Discord. That is where matches get organised (join here).
