Part 7

The app

Its places, the tray and updates, friends, clips, news and strats.

7.1 Its places

  • Play: the 5v5 queue, Unranked and Practice with who is on them, your season and last matches.
  • Leaderboard and Profile: the season's ladder, tiers, skill groups and every match you played.
  • Loadout, Workshop and Key binds: your look, offline maps and your keys.
  • Friends and Messages: who is on, invites and chat. Settings has the rest.

7.2 The tray and updates

The app waits in the tray and pops a notification when the queue fills or somebody invites you. Updates install themselves; right-click Rush in the tray and choose Restart to update to get one at once.

7.3 Friends and messages

  • Add friends, write to them, and see who is on Rush and on which server. A message reaches a friend in the game too.
  • The lobby and the match have a chat of their own, team chat too.
  • Somebody bothering you? Block them, or report a message. The staff read reports.

7.4 Clips and news

Every 5v5 is recorded. Its best moments become clips on the Clips page, with reactions and comments, and every match, the day and the week are written up in the News. One switch on your profile keeps you out of clips.

7.5 Strats

Draw a round on the map's own radar, step by step. Keep a strat to yourself or show it to everybody, and copy anybody's. The Rush library has a T execute and a CT setup on the pool's maps.
