3.1 What the Unranked server is

Drop in, pick a side, play. Nothing is rated, and anybody can join. Join from the Unranked panel on the app's Play page, where Maps and settings shows what is on now and every mode's maps.

3.2 Changing the mode

Type !mode on the server to put another mode to a vote. The staff can also switch the mode and map.

3.3 Rush smoke

A smoke on this server is Rush's own, made to play like CS2's.

• It fills the space it lands in: round corners and up to walls, never through them. In an alley it stays short.
• It is thick: nobody sees through it. Only your teammates' names show when you aim at someone, so an enemy's name never gives them away through it.
• A bullet cuts a small round hole along its path, and the smoke flows back in a moment later.
• An HE blows a big hole in it, which fills back in from its edges in 1 to 3 seconds.
• A flashbang on the other side of a smoke does not blind you, and a molotov's fire that starts in a smoke goes out.
• It lasts 18 seconds, like CS2's: its edges thin first, then its middle.
• The first time you join after it changes, your game downloads it and you see it from your next map - or type retry in the console. Until then, and if your game's downloads are off (cl_downloadfilter), you get the normal smoke.

3.4 Unrated

The usual 5v5 game. Nothing is rated, and anybody drops in and out on either side.

• Map vote at the end
• 24 slots

3.5 Wingman

2v2 on one bomb site. A big map plays one site of itself; the small ones only have one.

• 16 rounds, half-time swap
• $800 start
• 5 s freeze
• No bots, no warmup
• Map vote at the end
• 10 slots - the rest watch
• !sell - sell back what you bought, armour too, full price, in buy time

3.6 Retakes

The bomb is already down. The Ts hold the site, the CTs take it back - round after round, a random site each time.

• 10 play, 4 T / 6 CT - the rest queue
• Guns handed out, !guns for yours
• First 3 rounds pistols
• 25 minutes a map, then a vote
• 24 slots

3.7 Valo

The Valorant maps by Valorant's rules: first to 13, 1:40 rounds, Valorant's money, and the spawn walls.

• 5v5, open teams
• First to 13 (24 rounds), sides swap at 12
• Level at the end: overtime, first to 4 of 6
• 1:40 rounds, 45 s bomb
• No freeze time, 20 s to buy
• Spawn walls down at 20 s on Split, Bind and Ascent - no nades or sound across till then
• $800 start, $9,000 most, $3,000 a round won, $1,900 lost
• Armour is bought, as in Valorant
• Map vote at the end
• Up to 12 for a switch - Bind has 6 spawns a side
• !sell - sell back what you bought, full price, in buy time

3.8 Valo mode: the Valorant maps

• The Valorant maps are a mode of their own, Valo: Split, Bind, Ascent, Haven, Icebox, Fracture and Abyss. Type !mode and vote for Valo, or !valo to see its maps and the next one.
• Valorant's rules, as above: first to 13, 1:40 rounds, a 45 second bomb, Valorant's money - armour is bought.
• At the end of a game everybody votes for the next Valo map. Nobody voting picks one at random.
• On Split, Bind and Ascent the spawn walls drop 20 seconds into the round. Until then nobody can throw a grenade, shoot or knife, and no sound goes across to the other team.
• Bind has six spawns a side: with more than six on a team, the rest cannot spawn.
• A Valorant map always plays Valo, and the other maps never do.
• Walk Split, Bind and Ascent on your own first: they are on the Workshop page under Full maps.
