Part 1
Getting started
What you need, signing in, the app, and which server does what.
1.1 What you need
Rush runs on the legacy build of CS:GO, on our own 128-tick servers. You need Windows 10 or 11, Steam, and CS:GO (legacy) installed from your Steam library. Rush does not run on CS2.
1.2 Sign in and get the app
- Sign in with Steam on this website. We get your SteamID, name and picture, never your password.
- Download the Rush app from The app page and install it. It needs no administrator rights and updates itself.
- Open the app and play. Signing in is all it takes to queue for the 5v5. Unranked and Practice are open to everybody.
1.3 The three servers
- 5v5 server: the ranked queue. 10 queue, captains draft, the map pool is banned down to one, and the result moves your rating.
- Unranked server: drop in and play Unrated, Wingman or Retakes. Nothing is rated.
- Practice server: cheats on, grenade trajectories, any map, AWP mode and the 1v1 Arena.
- And offline, on your own PC: Workshop maps - aim trainers and map guides.
1.4 The website and the app
The leaderboard, profiles, match pages, practice and strats live in the app. Clips, News and this guide are open to anybody on the website.
